7 Reasons to Learn Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
If you are bored and looking for something new and productive to do, we have a suggestion for you: learn CPR training. Here at CPR Chicago, we offer the best and only the best experience for you in learning CPR. CPR training is a delicate and tremendously great tool or achievement to have. CPR helps keep the blood and oxygen circulation in your system flowing normally, and dramatically increases the chances of survival in those who are in cardiac arrest.
Here are some reasons why to add complete and qualified CPR training to your portfolio of achievements:

1. CPR Saves Lives

Well, duh, of course, CPR saves lives, it is its purpose! According to studies, there are tons of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occurring every year. And alongside this, is that a huge portion of those cases ends in death. However, when there is a qualified practitioner on the scene and CPR is properly and promptly performed, the person's chance of survival will drastically improve by a whole margin.

2. CPR Makes You Smarter

Let us be honest, if you complete your CPR training, you will learn and know something that you have not before you started! It is a crucial addition to your inventory of many skills.

3. You Might Save the Life of a Loved One

Did you know that approximately 80% of cardiac arrests occur in the household? And not just that, but many victims of sudden cardiac arrest appear healthy and may not have any known heart diseases or any risk factors at all. Knowing and performing proper CPR may just be the one thing that prevents the life of someone you dearly love from ending.

4. Anyone can learn CPR

Anyone has the capabilities to learn CPR and frankly, everyone should. It is a critical, life-saving procedure. It is reported that over 70% of Americans feel helpless in a situation of a cardiac emergency because they either do not have the qualifications of effective CPR administration or their training has lapsed.

5. You Will Feel Confident in the Time of an Emergency

CPR training classes will sufficiently equip you with the things you need to effectively change your role in the situation from a regular, helpless bystander to a life-saving hero.

6. Heart Disease is the Leading Cause of Death in the U.S.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, heart disease is the number one leading cause of death in the United States. It was reported that the disease claims the lives of more than half a million people each year. Learning CPR can change that.

7. Prevent the potential death of the brain

Brain death can occur about four to six minutes after the heart stops pumping efficiently and properly, and after the person stops breathing. CPR is an effective procedure in inhibiting this, as it keeps blood flow and oxygen flow to the vital organs in the body, thus giving the patient a better chance to regain consciousness.
In conclusion, learning CPR will make a difference in the world. Every person who learns CPR completely and successfully will potentially mean a whole lot fewer deaths from cardiac arrests. So, why not give it a try?
It will not hurt to do so, right? Just look at all the benefits you can get and give to the world just by learning proper CPR! So, what are you waiting for?

It's cool that you point out that learning CPR can allow you to save lives. I want to go boating with my friends this summer, so learning CPR sounds like a great idea. I'm going to look for a reputable business in my area that offers CPR training.
