It is common knowledge that CPR is the solution when encountering someone who drowned or had a heart attack. Usually, this includes 30 chest compression and 2 rescue breathing continuously for 1 minute. This is where complications usually come in. A lot of bystanders are reluctant in providing CPR because of the mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. It is a common misconception that with it, you can acquire AIDS; which is of course, only a myth and there are devices specially made in order to not have direct mouth-to-mouth contact.
